Terms of service
These terms cover your use of the Volta app and website, operated by voltacoach.app B.V. (KvK 42098549), registered in Hilversum, The Netherlands. Short version: use Volta for your own training, we'll treat you honestly, and neither of us pretends an app replaces medical judgement.
The service
Volta records and analyses your cycling, derives training zones and capability from your riding, and — on the paid tier — plans training and coaches you. Measurement features are free; coaching is a €5/month subscription you can stop at any time. Stopping never deletes what you built: your rides, zones and history stay yours and stay visible.
Volta is currently in beta. Things will occasionally be rough; we fix fast, and we won't charge you for anything while it is not worth charging for.
Your account
You need to be 16 or older, give a real email address, and keep your credentials to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account; tell us if you think someone else has access.
Your data
Your rides are yours. How we handle them is in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. You can take your data or delete your account whenever you like.
Not medical advice
Volta reads your riding and suggests training. It does not know your medical situation and is not a doctor. Train within your health, and if you have a condition that riding hard could affect, talk to someone qualified before following any plan — ours included.
Liability
We build carefully, but Volta is provided as-is. To the extent Dutch law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending things
You can stop using Volta and delete your account at any time. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service or other riders. If we ever discontinue Volta, you get notice and a way to take your data with you.
Governing law
Dutch law applies; disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. Questions first, though: [email protected].
